Our safety philosophy is simple;
Send everyone home safely to their families every day.

In keeping with this philosophy, we work hard to stay on the cutting edge of training and education so our employees can perform as safely as possible.

It has been worth the effort.

As of January 2004, we have worked over 1,000,000 man hours without a lost-time injury - since 1994.

Some unique features of Lehigh's safety program and culture include:

• A full-time Director of Safety - The sole responsibility of the Director of Safety is to develop and enforce safety programs, initiatives, and training
  
  
• OSHA 30-Hour cards - All of Lehigh's safety, field, warehouse, and project management staff are certified with OSHA 30-Hour cards. Training is delivered in accordance with OSHA's course in Construction Safety and Health. This extraordinary effort is an example of Lehigh's dedication to safety
  
  
• OSHA Alliance - Under this alliance, Lehigh educates high school and college level construction students on construction hazards and construction safety best practices.
  
  
• Monthly Training Sessions - Every field employee attends bi-weekly training sessions which cover various safety topics and procedures.
